Postdoctoral Fellow Positions in Computational Biology, University of Iowa

Postdoctoral Fellow positions in Computational Biology are available in the laboratory of Dr. Yi Xing at the Department of Internal Medicine of the University of Iowa. We are interested in using genomics and bioinformatics to study mammalian gene regulation and human diseases. We work closely with our colleagues at UI College of Medicine. Potential research topics include:

(a)   pre-mRNA splicing and alternative splicing

(b)   microRNAs

(c)   mammalian comparative genomics

(d)   analysis of high-density oligonucleotide microarrays.
